Meet Our Recruits
Andre Cotton (Class of 2025)
TEAM CAPTAIN
Andre is an exceptional young man. Does everything he's coached to do. Ran a personal best 11.64 in the 100M and 24.36 in the 200M. He also ran the 4x100M and the 4x200M. Andre has great explosion out of the blocks and does really well into the curve.
Dorian Dalton (Class of 2025)
Dorian is a 4 year thrower at LHS. Finished the season ranked in the state. Threw a personal best 49-5 in the shotput and 91-4 in the discuss. Dorian has potential to grow at the collegiate level.
Keonte Waters (Class of 2025)
TEAM CAPTAIN
Keonte is a high jumper at LHS. Finished at sub-state with a Personal best 5-6 in the high jump and 18-1 in the long jump. Keonte is a leader and captain on the team and has potential to grow at the next level.

Akayla Brown (Class of 2026)
TEAM CAPTAIN
Akayla has been exceptional since she was a freshman. Last year's PR in the 100M was 13.01 and 26.96 in the 26.96 in the 200M. She also has clocked a 1:10.00 400M time. Kayla has run the 4x100M, 4x200M, and the 4x400M relays. This fall, our coaching staff clocked her at 12.80 in the 100M. We believe that Kayla has the potential to compete at the Division 1 level in college. She is still improving and gaining strength, but she is the total package. Has great take off and strong strides. Akayla is enrolled in our "early college" program, she will graduate with an associate's degree. She is a 4.0 GPA student.
Chisom Obi (Class of 2026)
TEAM CAPTAIN
Ran a personal best 13.40 last season in the 100M. Also clocked a 28. 4 in the 200M. Ran the 4x100M and the 4x200M relays. We clocked Chisom at 12.85 in the 100M this past Fall. Shes one of the hardest workers on this team. Her focus and determination are unmatched. She is a leader by action and has tremendous upside at the collegiate level. Chisom is enrolled in our "early college" program, she will graduate with an associate's degree. She is a 3.8 GPA student.
Isaiah Welch
Also plays football at LHS, ran a personal best 11.48 in the 100M, also ran a Personal Best 23.42 in the 200M. Ran the 4x100M and the 4x200M for us. Has great explosive starts, is a hard worker, and has great potential to get better at the collegiate level.
